Here at Red Panda Ventures, we are behind one of the most successful Marketplace plugins for WordPress and WooCoomerce, WC Vendors Marketplace. We are about to embark on a big consolidation project and we need a new team member to speed up this process and grow with us.
Do you love building new projects and consolidating existing ones? Can you not stop until the bug is fixed? Do you enjoy building new integrations for e-commerce systems? Do you take pride in creating elegant solutions to complex problems? Have you built WordPress and WooCommerce plugins that solve simple or complex problems for businesses?
Responsibilities
- Support the entire project lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
- Produce fully functional WordPress plugins with clean testable code
- Lead development of new products and maintain existing ones.
- Leverage WordPress and WooCommerce APIs
- Solve bugs and address users issues in a fast-paced environment
- Test solutions across multiple platforms
- Liaise with the support and technical writing team
- Develop documentation for internal and customer use.
Requirements
- Intermediate skills in: PHP, JavaScript, WordPress, HTML, and CSS.
- Code portfolio. Link us to your GitHub account, GitLab, bitbucket, skywriting.
- Write and perform unit tests for WordPress, WooCommerce plugins.
- Ability to communicate professionally with technical and non-technical colleagues and users.
- Experience using Git
- Be in the timezone of GMT+2 to GMT+8
Nice to have
- Experience supporting and building WooCommerce plugins
- Worked with our products previously
- Evidence of contribution to open source projects be it in code or documentation
- Experience working in remotely distributed teams
Remuneration
This will be based on your relevant skills and experience.
